On April 1, 2025, ironically April Fools’ Day, my team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) received notice that we were part of a Reduction in Force (RIF). Rather than view that moment as a setback, I chose to see it as a turning point and an opportunity to formalize a broader vision for supporting government and industry partners alike.

I continued my federal service as a Contracting Officer (CO) with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services(HHS), maintaining an active role in public service and federal acquisition. This ongoing experience provides current, practical insight into the evolving procurement environment, directly enhancing the strategic guidance and support delivered through Lewes Consulting LLC.

Founded on more than a decade of federal contracting experience, Lewes Consulting was established to help organizations navigate the complexities of contract management and procurement strategy with clarity and confidence. We understand the unique challenges agencies and industry partners face, from market research and proposal development to business and program management oversight.

While Lewes Consulting was launched during a period of change, its mission was deliberate and forward-looking. The firm was built to serve, support, and simplify acquisitions, one contract at a time.
